Revealed, Not Constructed. High in the rocks of Joshua Tree National Park, the Kellogg Doolittle Residence defies time and logic. It is an ode to the desert—a sculptural masterpiece where twenty-six hand-sculpted concrete piers rise like sweeping wings to meet the sky.
The Exterior
Every surface and joint carries the weight of intention. The home's structure flows without sharp edges, mimicking the organic silhouettes of the landscape it inhabits.
The Interior
Step inside a space where art, nature, and humanity align. Every inch of the interior was shaped by hand over decades—from the custom door handles and dining chairs to the light fixtures and marble tables. This is the result of absolute artistic freedom and thirty-three years of patient devotion.
